anthon had to get his cpap back on. he was working a little too hard breathing with just the nasal cannula. they may try and ween him sometime next week. this isn't alarming and happens often with babies his size. he is, however, doing great with the breast milk and will be on full feedings for his weight tomorrow. this is exciting because one condition for babies to come home is that they have to be at full feeds for at least 3 days before they can come home. NOT saying that anthon will come home at 2.5 lbs (yes he has gained 5 OZ), but when he gets to a better weight, full feeds is a good sign.
i haven't been to see him in two days. yay mastitis. worst infection ever. i had swine last year and i thought i was going to die with that. this is much worse. i still feel run down and like my muscles are going into atrophy, but i am going to force myself to go up tomorrow. i NEED to see him. i had no idea how much staring into his isolette everyday kept me sane. poor mca and henry got to see a side of mommy that i had no idea even existed today. i feel awful. i know everyone keeps telling me that i have been through a lot, but i just can't believe how crazy, sad, happy, angry, etc. that i feel. i like to be in control and that isn't working very well for me right now...
hopefully tomorrow will be better. thank you annie.

Yay that Anthon is continuing to do well! What a good mama you are for keeping up with the pumping and whatnot.
I hope that you have a ride to the hospital today... I'll give you a call later to see when I can take you next week. Also we need to discuss dinner! I've had a crazy week this week so I'm so sorry for not getting things moving with dinner. Something tonight or Sunday night sound good? I'll text you.
