i am so boring. thank you nicki for letting me in on that secret.

After doing this tag project, I learned something about myself. I am not interesting at all. I know that M says that he can only talk to people smart or interesting...but just read the places I have been. SAD. Plus my 4 movies I can watch more than once? I should have lied and said stuff like Street Car Named Desire - except for the fact that I could barely get through that one time. I am a society "hussy", for those tender ears. I like mindless entertainment and I am obsessed with Disneyland. I have never been out of the country - except Canada...but everyone says except Canada. I look forward to lame attainable goals and throw me some roast beef and popcorn and I will be happy for hours. Sorry friends...I am boring. But enjoy anyway.

4 Movies I would watch more then once - this could be embarrassing...
1.) Ocean's 11
2.) The Usual Suspects
3.) Clueless
4.) Pretty Woman

4 Jobs I have had
1.) Social Service Worker, State of Utah
2.) Insane Asylum Worker - sounds better than "The State Hospital"
3.) Restaurant Worker - Red Lobster...funnest job ever and where I met M
4.) Graveyard Worker - shift, that is, not place

4 Places I have lived
1.) St. George, Utah
2.) Port Jervis, New York
3.) Los Angeles, California
4.) Spanish Fork, Utah

4 Places I have been to/visited
1.) Altamont, Utah
2.) Evanston, Wyoming
3.) DISNEYLAND
4.) Tijuana, Mexico

4 Favorite Foods
1.) Sushi
2.) Arby's roast beef sandwiches
3.) Tapas - American style
4.) popcorn - movie style

4 Places I would like to Visit
1.) DISNEYWORLD
2.) Jamaica
3.) Rome
4.) Amsterdam

4 Things I am looking Forward to
1.) Henry sleeping without being wrapped and through the night
2.) Buying a house
3.) Iceland trip
4.) Sleep tonight

4 Friends I am Tagging
1.) McKay
2.) Christanka
3.) Jaime
4.) Jolynn

pass the pigs

Normally I wouldn't post something so ridiculous about little Henry that no one would care about except M and I, but this was really funny. I doubt anyone will laugh as hard as we did...but just try to imagine. Some of the Anderson clan got together for a little game of pass the pigs. If you haven't played it - think of rolling dice shaped like pigs, count a certain amount of points for different positions the pigs land in, don't let them touch, ect. Anyway, M decided to let Henry roll for him. Hilarious really. He put the pigs in Henry's little fist and because Henry is constantly moving his little arms and legs, it looked like he was rolling the dice and throwing them. I might have to get a video of this and post later because it was so awesome. (Sorry Nicki, I had to ha ha).

back to school

So I am taking the big Graduate School plunge. After some family talks and life planning, I have decided to get my Masters Degree. Hopefully by 2011 I will be working in a school setting, telling kids what classes to take, and having the entire summer off.

prius

My government job went big this time and bought a Toyota Prius for transportation purposes, ect. I have absolutely fallen in love and am using the fact that we can conserve energy if we buy one to win over McKay's heart as well. I was in the neighborhood the other day and stopped by to show McKay the new love of my life. He got in to check out all the awesome features - while holding Henry. Guess who loved the Prius more than myself and McKay? Yes...Henry. He started laughing and kicking up a storm as soon as he got in the car. It was fantastic. This meant a lot to both of us, as Henry is a hard sell when it comes to his laughs. They come few and far between - so I think we are all very sold on the Prius.

facial hair mishaps

So McKay and I have been watching the NBA finals and the HBO series The Wire the last little while. We have found a very distinct similarity in facial hair between our favorite Celtic, Paul Pierce and our favorite character on The Wire, the awesomely acted heroin addict, Bubbles. What works for one, does not work for the other - as I mentioned before one can barely afford his heroin and the other, well you get the point. Hoping that after the finals are over - and of course the Celtics win (GO CELTICS!!) - PP can afford a razor.

Perfect facial hair for Bubbles - works

Not so perfect facial hair for PP - doesn't work as much

latest listening loves

So I am really into some new and upcoming artists - and a couple of guilty pleasures as well, that have been on the charts a while. Top three people I am in love with listening to right now:

1. Adele 19

2. Justin Nozuka Holly

3. Rihanna Good Girl Gone Bad - the guilty pleasure

Bonus track: Jesse McCartney - I'm Leaving - VERY guilty pleasure

If you want to try out any of this awesome music I have songs from the albums on my playlist. However, Jesse McCartney is not on there as I could not find him on playlist.com. Apparently he is not a guilty pleasure for many people.

new red hat

I got Henry this new hat for summer time. McKay made fun of me, however has admitted since seeing Henry in it that it is fab and fantastic. Henry likes to eat the chin strap, however. I guess that is better than his whole fist in his mouth.

family party

The Anderson family had a birthday bbq for Karen's birthday. Took some pictures. And I also wanted to showcase how talented McKay's brothers are. I didn't get a picture of McKay's 3rd talented brother -however he is an amazing artist. Also I guess I should give props to the most talented Anderson brother - McKay - he bbq'd some mouth watering lamb.

Nord, David, McKay, Henry

David singing and playing the guitar. Talented brother number 1. I guess I should also mention that he got a 830 on his GMAT. This means he most likely could go to Harvard. Talented.

Nord playing basketball. Talented brother number 2. I took several shots of Nord playing basketball to try out my 'sports' option on my camera. Fun. Nord also sings, plays the guitar (amongst other instruments), writes songs, ect. Talented.

bowling

McKay's friend Devin was in town over Memorial Day, so we went and did what they frequently skipped high school to do - Bowling. This was a very exciting bowling trip, as it was Henry's first and McKay scored his best score ever - 206. There was a little bit of techno dance bowling going on as well, which is what I was wishing for all night. The music was a little bit loud for Henry, however (I believe it was ACDC that made him cry). This was definitely one of the better bowling trips I have had. I also saw a co-worker which was fun.

We attempted to make Henry's head look like a bowling ball.

As you can see the big score 206 is under my name, so I could technically claim this, but I was trying to make Henry happy and McKay bowled for me as well as for himself the second game. No need to check out the first game scores - I bowled for myself on that one. Sad.
