so in anthon news, he had several tests this morning. a blood gas to check oxygen levels that came back a little low, but nothing they are worried about. a hematacrit test to check for possible need of blood transfusion. that came back at 35. they start looking at possible transfusions lower than 35, but also consider how the baby is doing clinically, so no blood for now. he also had another chest xray, but we don't have results on that yet. he is tolerating his feedings well, hopefully they will move him up to more breast milk today. the PDA was checked on and is not totally closed. the last round of indomethicine didn't really do much, so they are going to keep an eye on him and see if they need to do anything else with his heart. however, the ventricles look good, so that is good news.
in allison news, i woke up this morning with fever, chills, aches, flu like symptoms. has anyone had mastitis? cuz the world wide web says that you can have flu like symptoms first and then get all the other fun painful stuff later. ugh. hopefully this is not what is wrong. i also may have a bladder infection, which is being treated, but the dr is concerned because there was blood in my urine (sorry gross). someday i will get back to my normal self and feel better.
i may be a downer today, but seriously? snow? in october. so irritating. so not fair. there was no FALL. like 30 seconds of leaves changing. rude.
mca's bday is in 29 days. his birth month started yesterday, and alas, i had to be reminded. AND, henry has no halloween costume.
BUT, anthon is doing great. and that is what keeps us going. thanks for all the support, prayers, calls, texts, emails, everything. we have wonderful family and friends that help us get through the days. and the U of U NICU has been amazing as well. i haven't had to worry yet about leaving anthon in their hands.

Glad to hear Anthon is doing well. Sorry you are not feeling well. I had mastitis and it was just like that. Fever, chills, aches, yucky then really bad breast pain. (sorry, is that gross too?) But antibiotics took care of it pretty quick. Hope you feel better soon!
Hey if you need help with a costume for Henry I can do that!! I'm glad A is doing well.. sorry you're sick! Can I bring you dinner or anything???
My sister in law had that. She explained the same symptoms. If you catch it quick I hear it isn't too bad. I would go have it checked to get on meds and pump a lot (like you aren't already). Haha. Sorry you aren't feeling well, but happy to hear the good news about Anthon. I check everyday to see how he's doing. Good luck! You are one strong girl. =)
Where is your Mom when you need her 4 hours away sorry.Feel better I think because you got the meds early you will be OK. So happy about Anthon. Henry will be cute in anything dont worry about that just get better. Much Love
