may 2011 - graduation

so i was lucky enough to be able to go to get a masters degree in school counseling this year. i went through the university of phoenix. it was a 3 year long program, however, went extremely fast. i met some amazing people in my group (we all pretty much stuck together throughout the course of the 3 years). i met one of my life time best friends and her sister. and some other amazing people and instructors. now i wish i could just get a job. i did learn that i definitely want to be doing school counseling, that it was the right decision for me to make. i accomplished a lot in those three years, and i lost a lot as well. so i am pretty proud that i stuck with it and finished. here are some pictures of my happy day:

ali (bestie), amy, me - ali and amy are sisters. they started the program together. after ali started her practicum, she just realized that this was not the route she wanted to take. so she is now on her way to getting her LPC, so she can be a therapist. ps - background fingers need to die.
