oh my word. it is half way through october. i am really worried i am not going to finish 2011 before 2012 rolls around. here's to hoping. we did A LOT in april this year. bday parties, spring celebration festivities, and a new bike were just a few things that happened:

we helped lily (hen's fav gal pal) celebrate her bday at jumpin jacks.

as at his bday party, hen was obsessed with the gigantic slide.

hen learned how to get his car on top of things and watch tv at a better angle - not a good thing for mom.

hen and mca practiced their mean face in the workout room.

for our spring celebration we held our very first egg hunt.

hen found all his eggs pretty quick.

we were glad to get some use out of the treadmill,

and mca even joined in the fun.

opening the eggs was a great feat for hen,

but he sure loved the candy inside.

we also dyed eggs for our spring celebration.

hen was extremely excited,

but got serious real quick when the project started.

he was actually really careful about not dropping the eggs in the dye. quite the expert with the "spoon set in" technique.

we also found a saweet bike at a garage sale in april.

hen got the hang of it really quick.

parking,

and of course crashing.

needless to say, we had a very happy boy with a "big boy" bike.

next up - graduation cruise...
