the shaws are all trekking up to the old ranch in Wyoming in july. so our little family has decided this would be a perfect opportunity to get some camping in. i am not a camper. i love the idea of camping. but i kind of hate doing it. its kind of boring. anyway, i definitely needed to test drive my camping skills before our 5 night camp out. so we set up our tent in the backyard, had us a bbq, and cooked some "shmoes". yes, i did stay out until sun up. and received much needed praise and admiration from the hubs. here are some pics:
our 7 man tent just doesn't seem big enough with all the "furniture" inside - i didn't get a pic of my new blow up couch...
yes, i bbq'd some hot dogs,
and everyone loved them,
especially "tan".
we are having some serious issues with jumping on the bed, blow ups included.

I TOTALLY feel the same way. Love the idea, hate it usually. We keep talking about it. Brady got put in boy scouts and so we have to buy camping gear. Good opportunity to start going as a family too, maybe....?
Not much camping in the Shaw family but I can see that maybe Allie has caught the Anderson camping bug. I love the tent and the camp fire..........
