so since we have lived in our house for almost 9 months, we decided that we would get some projects done. one thing we are doing is decorating henry's room. i found these awesome license plate tin art wall things at target, so i decided on a car theme for his room. this post is dedicated to the street sign we made. here are the before and after:
i found this sign in the garbage at my office building
we spray painted it krylon antique white.
we then made stencils from painters tape for the lettering. i printed the letters from a free font online. stuck those babies right to the painted sign and...
here is the final product. mca had the brilliant idea of turning a green (yard sale find) curtain rod into the pole for the sign. just one coat of krylon metallic silver did the trick.
can't wait to unveil the whole room when it is finished!!!
