first santa experience = success

hen and i went to the mall for a little xmas shopping. we walk by the santa and the line was totally empty, so i thought, what the heck lets try this. i go to pay for some pics and i say, what happens if he throws a fit, i don't want to pay for pics if he is scared. so they let me try it first. i stroller hen up to the picture taking area, totally worried he is going to start screaming. he sees santa and yells "tanta". I get him out of his coat, barely out of the stroller and he jumps out and runs up to the cute little santa in the chair. he stops. looks around. i put him on santa's lap and he was just in awe. it was the cutest thing ever. then they started taking the pictures and the light from the flash was like the coolest thing to hen. "ight, ight" he kept screaming. so this is one of the pictures we got. but there were some really cute ones of his fun expressions. so needless to say, our first santa experience was a success. so glad i have such a totally cool and laid back baby. the santa experience seems more traumatic for mom then the child - please don't freak, please don't freak. it was a fun mommy moment for me. i can't wait for hen to see mickey!!!
