SCRAP EXPO USA

It came and sadly went. This is the short. Thursday X, Val, and I met up at Cheesecake Factory and had our dinner. Great service, great food, GREAT cheesecake, overall great. Got to the hotel and decided that because I was sort of getting sick, and Val had jet lag from her trip around the world, that we would go to bed early. This was all after a really LAME episode of Grey's Anatomy that was like watching a bad train wreck, so you couldn't turn it off until it ended. We woke at 5 AM. This was the hard part. Got fab parking spots and all settled into line by about 5:45 AM. We ate bundt for breakfast. We were numbers 43, 44, & 45 in line. X got called out to be on TV and won a $50 scrapbook kit. We got our tickets around 7:20 and rushed the doors at exactly 9 oh oh as X would say. Got the table we always sit at, threw our stuff on the table and ran to the door buster sales. I won't finish the rest of the deets as they can get boring for non-scrap freaks. But we scrapped and shopped all day. We didn't make it to midnight, as I was getting more sick and X just isn't as into it as Val and I are. So we left around 8:00 PM. It was definitely what I needed. Now I really want to start counting down for the next one in March. I also might really want to go to the one in St. George in November. I have an addiction. However, I must say, to end, that the people at the table next to us are even more crazy than us, as they have been all over the US of A scrapping. I need to branch out.

Love the post. I'll be doing a scrap post as well, although it probably won't be as witty as yours. Funny that Jaime is now Val, both on her team and in your blog.
