Sloan has had this secret tattoo for like 2 years, and none of us have known about it until now. He even hid it last Christmas when we all met up in St. George wearing long sleeves the whole time - even to the gym where my older brother Todd was wondering why he wouldn't take his hoodie off while running on the treadmill. So unfortunately Sloan recently became sick (kidney disease - neuphrotic syndrome) and has been in and out of the hospital for about 6 weeks. Anyway, my SIL was in LA a while ago and during one of his hospital stays went to visit. She was the first to see the tattoo. Then Roz and Chan went to visit - a surprise - and Sloan's fantastic roommate called my mom and made mention of the tattoo so she wouldn't fall down and have a heart attack. Sloan even tried to hide the his arm for about 2 hours under the hospital sheet after being surprised to see my parents, until it was just too obvious for anyone to care. So the secret has been out and we have all been dying to see this tattoo. Most readers won't care - but if you knew Sloan this would be shocking to you as it was to the entire family. It looks fantastic though.
