febrary was quite eventful for the anderson family. henry started honing in on his cooking skills. and we also hosted 3+ parties at our house. bunco (theme: celebrating winter as goddess from the north - viking style), the super bowl (no pics), and the oscars.

chef henry made quite the supper for himself one night that included: 1 hot dog, a handful of doritos, 1 cheese stick, and for desert a package of fruit snacks...

he got real serious about this meal.

another night, he insisted on eating dinner outside. this was more of a simple meal that consisted of one ingredient...

viking goddesses celebrated winter by playing bunco...

and the life size popcorn machine came in handy for our popcorn themed oscar party.

toppings galore included butter, hot sauce, several flavored salts, chocolate covered EVERYTHING, sugar, spices, and the list goes on.

needless to say, february was quite entertaining for us this year. we love all our friends that often travel out to the "sticks" to celebrate any and every event we can get our hands on. i think hen is catching the entertaining bug, and may just be in on the recipe ideas for our next party. here's to another eventful february-fest 2012!!
