wednesday's obsession

whilst talking with a co-worker and dear friend we came to the realization that i have a lot of weird things that i am obsessed about and/or that i am particular about. so i decided to start a weekly post about my strange habits - thus the title wednesday's obsession. today we will discuss my extreme love for: CARDIGANS

i have loved cardigans from i don't even know when. perhaps my mom dressed me in them when i was younger and i have just thought very highly of them since. i remember things started to get out of hand when i was in my abercrombie stage. i bought every thing that either zipped or buttoned up that was available in the store. and we will shortly find out that when i am "obsessed" with something, that something usually comes in a variety of colors or sets. a collection if you will. then i started working at the gap and collected many lovely cardigans there. my dear co-worker at the time called me grandma because i "needed" to purchase the latest cardigan in EVERY color. now the cardigan love still ensues. recently i found THE most amazing cardigan via oldnavy.com. and i purchased, i think, 5 different colors. when i stalked the site for more colors on a daily basis, i was lucky enough to find a BLACK one on sale for like $9. i literally peed my pants with excitement. i am pretty particular about my cardigans though. not a huge fan of 3/4 length sleeve - because it ends up being a short long sleeve on my stubs that are called arms. not a huge fan of a cropped cardigan, because again this is not flattering on my large, but short stature. any color will do. i also try and project my cardigan love onto my son. by buying him zip up hoodies. i did get away with a knitted one for christmas this year without mca having a fit.

so there you have it. cardigans. i rarely will be seen without one on. unless i am at home. and you can find me in another article of clothing i will discuss on another wednesday.
