omg. i cried and cried. i just can't get over how amazing people are. i told myself that nothing good could ever come from my sweet angel dying, but the love and support of those around us has really made me have hope in humanity again. anyone who knows me (especially my peeps at work) know i am sarcastic, mean, and ornery with walls up so high so i can't feel anything. but with anthon's birth and death the love and compassion just hasn't stopped. and i am so unbelievably humbled at the good works of the people in our lives. even those that barely know us.
and i can't forget to mention these teenage kids who literally worship my husband. he comes home everyday from his job everyday loving what he does. teaching middle school kids - crazy!! but he loves those kids so much, and they love him. not only did they nominate him for this secret santa, but they raised A LOT of money as an entire school for anthon's medical expenses.
so as you can tell, i am just in awe. i OFTEN forget how much love there is surrounding our family. thank you to all that have been so gracious, concerned, caring, everything. happiness is in our home today :)

That was so cool! The letter was very touching and thoughtful! You can tell MC has really made an impression on them that they will always remember! Your family is very deserving! :)
I saw the link on your fb. What a sweet thing for McKay's students to do.
Good for you for finding the silver lining. Still praying for you.
Got to love the SoJo community! Glad we could help with some of the burdens you and McKay might be going through! We do have some amazing faculty and staff and I just hope when McKay has the "crappy" days that he knows how much I and the people at SoJo care about him!
