as you all know, i celebrate my birthweek. usually starting on mother's day and ending somewhere around my birthday. this year mca made me homemade (or schoolmade - thank you higgs) cards for every day of my birthweek. the cards had little hints to a big celebration at the end of the week. it was one of the best birthdays i have had.
so for the big day. mca, hen and i started off with some awesome yard sales in the morning. got an electric sander and a bottle warmer (more about that later... :)) we then hit up cabella's (i know you are wondering why, but our real destination wasn't open yet) and had a snack. then to thanksgiving point gardens. the tulips were still going strong and it was so pretty. mca also surprised me with golf cart tour of the gardens, which was so awesome. then home for an amazing nap. and after, my bestie and her hubs watched the nug (thanks ali and scott). mca and i then ventured off to slc and stayed at the little america hotel. great air conditioning, not so great beds. i wasn't feeling the greatest so we canceled our reservations at donovan's steakhouse and opted out for a quiet evening at the LA bar. it turned out to be great. especially the cougar wine party at the table next to us. we went to bed at 9 PM. totally awesome. and then to einstein bagel in the morning for breakfast. thanks mca for such a great time. so relaxing with lots of sleep and spoiling. here are some pics from the gardens.

What a great Birthday! Could you please have MCA give your brother a few tips on what us girls like on our B-days?
And, wow...the tulips are beutiful!
Love that you celebrate your birth week, great tradition!!! Looks like a blast!
