FIRE HOUSE HEAVEN

i almost had a disneyland experience this morning at the car wash - well at least my car did. i pull up to fire house car wash (firehouseclean.com) in american fork and this lovely gentleman greeted me. he was so friendly and patient because - as i told him - i was a firehouse virgin. so he gave me a ticket for the package i chose and then pointed me in the direction of "the tunnel". yes i got to sit in my car whilst it was trolling on through the insane soap, water, spot remover, drying machine. there are even directions at the beginning 1. put car in N 2. don't move your steering wheel 3. take your foot off the break. it was so much fun. after the excitement of us - yes us as in me and the car - got through "the tunnel" we were again greeted by another lovely gentleman that politely said "is there anything you would like us to take more attention to in your vehicle today" what? are you kidding. i'm definitely not on earth at this moment. then i say goodbye to good old gary (my saturn) and i walk into the most amazing "waiting room" i have ever been in. Fabulously decorated - of course firehouse theme everywhere, but not like firehouse theme vomit. it was very tastefully done -, kids corner where they can play trains and shoot the cars with soap as they go by in "the tunnel", black leather over sized comfy chairs all over, a massage chair, a cafe, an entire stock of smelly trees you could every imagine for free with your wash, the list goes on. the lovely woman at the front counter was ever so helpful and polite as well, asking me if i would like to get cash back from my debit card so that i could pay a tip if i wanted. ah. i almost forgot. love her. my car was done fairly quickly and another lovely gentleman picked me up at the door and said, "how about i walk you to your car and you can tell me if i need to do anything else to it" what? where am i again? it looked fabulous. i gave him my tip and he was so gracious whilst saying "please come back and see me for anything, my name is so and so. if you haven't experienced the love and care of this place, you must go now. it may be a little pricey, but seriously it is totally worth it. it is an experience. it made my day a little brighter. i can't wait to go back.
