happenings

for whatever reason, i have neglected my blog. i hate when people neglect their blog. anyway, this is what has been going on in the last few weeks:


henry update. he is perfection. crawling everywhere, pulling up, and walking with assistance. he is a busy body in every sense. he will not cuddle, only for a second when he first wakes up. this is a recent photo of him playing in the laundry basket.

Utah/BYU rivalry game. I made a red velvet - double layered - cake. it was fun to make, but it didn't taste very good.

Mca's 30th b-day. started with 30+ balloons delivered to his classroom via cousin lana - thanks - dinner at the blue iguana, jazz game, jacuzzi tub, and bundt cake.

• my parents - bless them - came up for the thanksgiving break. we had so much fun. this is what we did: first they so graciously watched henry so that mca and i could celebrate his b-day; thanksgiving dinner at little america coffee house with mom, dad, aunt and uncle, and four cousins. it was delish and nice not to have to roll out of there and not to have to clean up; decorated the house for christmas, something that i hate doing and only did because it is henry's 1st christmas, late showing of twilight (dad included), shopping, and christmas light stalking - which my mother loved more that i love disneyland. we sadly said goodbye sunday morning.

• other updates - i finished my first class for my graduate degree. A-. i start a new one tonight. Mca has been terribly sick for almost 3 weeks which doesn't sound like much of an update, however his sickness has been a source of conversation, tension, and sadness for the duration. oh and also paris hilton has almost chose her new bff.

• i guess that is all for now. ttyn - does anyone know what that means?
