This is the day you will be born Henry Hone Anderson. We are up in Jordan Valley Hospital and we have been here for over 24 hours. You and Mom have been induced to labor because Mom has a little toximia. That means that her blood pressure is going up and she couldn't have you in much longer. Today is the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr so your in good company. Also many of your Shaw cousins have been born on a fifteenth. You have decided to come at the most in oppourtune time because yesterday I left my first day of student teaching to be here and you messed up our third aniversary. But the gift was supposed to be leather and we didn't give each other presents so you are our little leather present. You have been having a bit of a hard time with the contractions because your heart rate dips a little. I'm looking out the window and there is a huge snow storm going on. Grandpa Anderson wanted to be here very much and couldn't stay because of the cancer. I hope you two have gotten to know each other on the other side and I'm sure he will be here in spirit when you come out. Nana Roz and Papa Chan are in St. George and will soon be on there way to see you. Grandma Anderson is having a pet scan right now and if you hold on a few more hours she will be here to see you come out. You are on the top of many peoples important list and they are all waiting by the phone to hear you have arrived. Your mother has started calling you a diva which I'm against but you sure have pushed all other plans aside to make your entrance. Alli is snoring right now! She is in active labor with you but because of the epidural in her back she is able to catch a few winks before the pushing starts. In the morning before the epidural she was ready to give up but she is doing great now. There are many people you need to thank for helping you get here first and in class by herself is your mother Allison. Grandma and Nana need to be thanked and also uncle Dave and aunt Kristy have done so much to help the last two or three days. Jerret and Alisha provided the camera to video tape your arrival and Bo is crusing the coast of California and shouldn't be thanked at all. Just kidding.
I don't know why I started a new paragraph the whole thing has been one jumbled mess but I want you to know that you have the honor of being the Anderson name sake. From great Grandma and Grandpa Anderson there have been many grandchildren before you but all the boys have different last names and all of the Anderson's have been girls so you are lucky to be the first male Anderson of this generation.
